The surface is coated with a thin layer of clay to provide incredible smoothness. The core is bright white throughout and is made from high density virgin fibre. All parts are buffered to an alkaline pH to protect against future degradation. The ultra-smooth surface is great for mounting art and images that need a perfectly smooth substrate.
